WHEN USING SAT NAV ENTER POST CODE PH21 1NT
From Inverness
1. Following the A9 south to the south exit into Aviemore.
2. Turn right at junction and proceed for approx. 5 miles to Kincraig.
3. At the church hall junction turn left on B970, over bridge, past Loch Insh and turn right at next junction – signposted Insh.
4. Proceed for approx 3 miles into the village of Insh.
5. Pass the little white church and after the small 30mile an hour sign you will see a road entrance on the left.
6. Turn sharp left round here (there are a number of letterboxes on the fence) and up the drive to Birch Cabin (our home).
7. The Old Log Shed is accessed by driving to the left of the garage and is signposted
From the South
1. Follow the A9 north to the Newtonnmore/Kingussie turnoff. About 3 miles to Kingussie
2. On entering Kingussie, turn right at the Duke of Gordon Hotel (sign to Ruthven Barracks)
3. Over railway crossing past Ruthven Barracks
4. Proceed to Insh – about 4 miles past telephone box
5. Past a field on the left then you will see this entrance on the right
6. Turn sharp right then sharp left (note row of letterboxes on fence)
7. The Old Log Shed is accessed by driving to the left of the garage and is signposted
